(n.) living in the moment, detached from the bothers of life.
“The Floating World”
This word spoke to me the most when choosing an idea for the name of my blog. I knew I wanted it to be a word with a concept attached to it that spoke to who I was or the person I want to be. As I study Buddhism more and more and develop the principles of detachment, I try to implement it in my everyday life. Being able to detach is uplifting and liberating, which is why this word really connected with me as it’s known as “The Floating World”. I hope this word resonates with you as it did with me. Better yet, I hope my writing resonates with you. Detach yourself from a closed mind and allow the words to encompass your thoughts.
